Before Care

*ONLY THE CLIENT IS ALLOWED IN THE PROCEDURE ROOM!

Day Of:

Avoid caffeine and exercise. Wash your hair in the morning as you will need to avoid the shower for several days. Baths are recommended. Come with a Clean and Makeup free Face.

*If you have an ideal shape and color in mind, bring a few reference photos with you to your appointment.

Night Before:

No alcohol.

72 Hours Before:

Avoid aspirin/ibuprofen and blood thinners. For brow procedure, waxing or threading must be done 72 hours prior.

One Week Before:

Stop taking the following supplements (Vitamin E, B6/Niacin, Omega 3/Fish Oil, Gingko Biloba, St. John's Wort) as they contribute to thinning the blood and may affect anesthetic efficacy. You may resume taking your vitamins 72 hours after.

30 Days Before:
Absolutely NO sun exposure or tan skin 30 days prior to your appointment.(This includes tanning beds)  The pigment will not hold very well  and the color will heal ashy.  If we are doing hair strokes, they will not heal to a nice hair-look.  It will heal blurred.  Avoid sun for at least 30 days after your procedure.  Sun is the No.1 enemy to your permanent makeup! It will make it fade very fast! Always keep your permanent makeup investment protected!

You must be OFF all Retinols or Retin-A products 30 days prior to your appointment.  You may resume your products 30 days after your procedure, however, Retinol products WILL fade your brows prematurely, so if possible, keep them away from your permanent cosmetics.

2 Months Before:

It is recommended to stop all brow hair growth products, such as Latisse or Grande Lash 2 months prior to your procedure and can be restarted 4 weeks after your procedure is completed.  However, hair growth product use could cause resistance of color uptake even if stopping 2 months prior.  It affects everyone's skin differently. 

*If you have been on prescription Accutane in the past, you MUST wait at least one year before considering this procedure.

*If you plan to go on a vacation, it is recommended to plan your trip a minimum of 14 days after the procedure.
